Faster than the wind, straight to the target, Alfonsina Strada came up and down mountains, falling and getting up once and again. At a time when women weren't allowed into sports (and so much more...), Alfonsina became known as "The Queen of Pedal" and was the first woman to run the Giro d'Italia in 1924.
Awarded illustrator Joan Negrescolor dedicates this album to the women that, like Alfonsina Strada, never surrender.
