Inspired by a Japanese tale, this is the legend of Issun Bôshi, the boy who had the height of a thumb.
A couple of peasants dreams about having a baby. One day, the miracle happens and Issun Bôshi, the little thumb, is born. The years pass by and the little boy grows clever and gifted, but he doesn't grow more than a thumb's size in height. When he reaches fifteen, he decides to go on an adventure. He meets a spoiled princess and a grumpy ogre and soon will find his path.
